The Lafayette School Corporation, Tippecanoe School Corporation and the West Lafayette Community School Corporation will remain closed and continue with remote learning for six more weeks.
Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb ordered all schools to remain closed for the remainder of the academic year to help prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19). Schools have been directed to provide instruction via remote learning. Based on the Executive Order and guidance from the Indiana Department of Education, the three districts will continue providing remote learning every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday until Friday, May 15.
The three districts understand the emotional, academic, and other implications of the impact this school closure has on our students and families. The health and well-being of our students remains the top priority during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Each district will communicate with their families to provide more information regarding the school closure order, graduation for seniors, and many other related topics.
TSC families, please read the April 3, 2020 COVID19 Update from Superintendent Scott Hanback.
