Standards and Assessments

All curriculum at Burnett Creek Elementary is designed around the Indiana State Standards. These standards are assessed in the spring by the state with assessments such as the ILEARN for grades 3-5. The I-Read3 test is a state created reading test for students in third grade.

Burnett Creek also monitors student progress throughout the year by administering the NWEA test three times a year (fall, winter, and spring). You can find these testing dates on our school calendar.
